Can someone share the basic definitions, dev classes, storage pools
To accomplish this , I am under the little hard to understand category.
I must be missing some pieces.

We have been writing full backups to a virtual volume pool on a remote server 
for several years using server-to-server communication. The setup is a little 
hard to understand, but easy to do.
