I am not an exchange guy, but have been asked the following:

Is there a way to restore an individual mailbox / calendar without loading mapi 
services on the particular server in question?

What he wants to do is have a specific server which is always to be used for 
restores so that the production servers need not have mapi services installed.

We have seven production exchange servers, all backed up with the tsm exchange 
client.
Any help would be appreciated.

Server is tsm 6.2.2, exchange version 6.1.3 I think.
