If the tapes are listed as scratch they are not dedicated to a storage pool 
anymore.
But if you want to delete a tape or volume from a storage pool you just tape 
"del vol VOLUMENAME"

If you mean it still in Volhistory you can type del volhist type=XXXX 
volume=xxxxx tod=+0 force=yes

Good morning,
Is there a way to remove tapes from an stgpool after you have deleted the 
stgpool?  The tapes are listed as scratch.
