YES.  Our problems were 'del vol' not macros, and were tied in with the win 
2008 systemstate issues. TSM server 6.2.2.30 helped a lot.

I can reproduce problem with 6.2.2.2 on AIX 6.1 and AIX 7.1 with this
macro:

delete vol blah1  discardd=yes wait=yes
delete vol blah2  discardd=yes wait=yes
delete vol blah3  discardd=yes wait=yes
delete vol blah4  discardd=yes wait=yes

Not sure whether the issue is the macro or the delvols...
