Thank for all the answers on my problem installing the Tivoli server 6.2.0
instance. I succeded install it by hand (manual)(the commandline is your
friend), without using the different gui'es and in fact all the installing was
finish, so all I had to do was installing the service.
I have a server running the same setup, but it started as 6.1 server, perhaps
it didn't have the timeout problems
But im running that's the bottom line

Hello Leif,
The problem you are seeing in the wizard is that it timed out waiting for
the format to complete. . It looks like it took over an hour to run the
formatting commands, and this generally indicates some problems with your
setup, something that will also impact your sever performance once it is
running. Please check to make sure your system memory and storage
requirements, and , the location of your server directories, and insure
they all meet the recommendations in the install manual. You might also
try moving your directories to another disk, I have seen a similar problem
where there were disk performance issues.
