Open the GUI on the client, click RESTORE, navigate to those files like you
were going to select them for restore.
Last column on the right shows the mgmt class the client is bound to.
That's the easy way.
On the server end, the only way is to craft a SELECT out of the BACKUPS table
for those files.
And running SELECT on the BACKUPS table can be painful.
Much easier (and faster!) to have them do it on the client end.

Subject: [ADSM-L] Verify management class usage on an AIX TSM client
Hi Everyone,
How can I verify that a particular management class is being used, in this
case: mcnlv365d, on a particular AIX TSM client at version 5.5.2.0 for
filesystem: /usr/grok/lun08? The full path of the data is:
/usr/grok/lun08/23184/ and they're looking for all files that are: 810452492.*.
Can anyone tell me how to verify that that management class is bound to those
particular files from the AIX TSM client? And is there also a way to verify
this from the TSM server?
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
