I restarted TSM Scheduler several times.

I already upgrade TSM Client to a new version yesterday.

Hello,

Has the TSM scheduler service been restarted since the exclude rules
were added?  If not then it won't have picked up the additions to
dsm.opt, which would explain the discrepancy between manual and
scheduled backups.
