Hi everyone,
TS7740 virtualization engine performs some functions of TSM like backup to
disk and migrate to tape, keeping an inventory of physical cartridges, etc.
Can TS7740 be used to help TSM for z/OS? It seems to me that this
visualization solution is designed for environments with no TSM? And again
in my opinion if a VTL is to be used in TSM, a VTL like TS7680 would be a
wiser solution.
