Hello Everybody,
I am testing VDR 1.2.0.1131 backups in ESXi 4.0.
I have done successfully:
1) install VDR plug-in on vCenter Cilent;
2) install appliance on one of the hosts;
3) configure appliance;
4) add disk to appliance;
5) create backup jobs for VMs;
6) run backups for two VMs.
I have got an error during backup of 3rd VM. It looks I do not have enough
space in appliance data store.
I have increased disk without any problems, but I couldn't run backups more
because of "The backup job did not start because its destination is busy".
I am restarted appliance and found that "Backup Appliance Status" in
configuration:
1) starting with status "Polling";
2) then go to status "Inactive";
3) finally go to status "Waiting for storage media" forever.
Sorage media is available because I am able to:
1) unmount data store disk;
2) mount data store disk;
3) restore files from VMs with existing backups by FLR.
What does it mean "Waiting for storage media"?
How can I fix this problem?
Kindest regards,
Grigori G. Solonovitch
