Re: [ADSM-L] API will not install

Andy,
I have yet to see that API installation issue; I would probably try to
install the TDP & Agent on another w2k3 x64 host to figure out whether
the issue is related to a potential corrupted host image build or to
corrupted installation files. One other option could be to get rid of
any registry entries for the TDPSQL client, Agent, baclient then reboot
and perform a fresh install again.
Good luck.

Subject: [ADSM-L] API will not install
We have a server that will not install the API when we install the
agent. This in turn causes the TDPSQL to not work. We have tried
uninstalling everything and then installed the agent using a custom
install to insure the API is selected, still no luck. The install does
to return any errors.
Has anyone seen this before?
Windows 2003 x64
Agent 5.5.2.1 x64
TDPSQL 5.5.2.0 x64
Also tried with no success:
Installed 5.4.2.3, API installed, upgraded to 5.5.2.1 and the API is
removed.
Reinstalled 5.5.2.1
Repaired 5.5.2.1
Installed 5.5.2.1 from different source
Selected for install both 32bit and 64bit API Bad language
