Hi Bill,

Recreate a storage groups with the same name and database names
as the old storage group. Make sure the names exactly match,
including upper/lower case.
Change the properties of the databases by checking the box that says:
"This database can be overwritten by a restore"
You should then be able to perform the restore.
You should also be able to add those databases to the RSG now as well.
It's been a little while since I have used Exchange 2003...
so I can't remember completely. (Things get easier and nicer in Exchange
2007/2010.)
Also, make sure to choose the restore option that says
Replay Restored Log Only.
