Re: [ADSM-L] ISC 6.1 Quirkiness

Wanda,
Here are a couple of clarifications
on the clopset behaviour in the Administration Center:
What is a little different from other
add action forms is that he DEF CLIENTOPT command is not issued until the
OK button of the property NB is pressed.
Below are the scree shot for adding
exclude filter.
- The DEF CLIENTOPT command is not issued
after press OK button in Property Form.
- When we return back to the properties
NB, although the new filter was displayed, the command was not issued yet.
After we press the OK button on the
NB, the related DELETE/DEFINE CLIENTOPT commands are sent to the TSM server.
At last, open a new property NB to check
the added filter. It's there already.
Hope that helps - thanks.

Subject:
| [ADSM-L] ISC 6.1 Quirkiness |
Here's a different issue, ISC 6.1 running on Win2K3,
TSM server 6.1.2,
browser running on WinXP SP3.
I created a new cloptset with exclude filters through the ISC a couple
of
weeks ago.
When I try to modify the cloptset, either by modifying an existing exclude
filter, or adding more exclude filters, it behaves OK in the ISC, no errors,
it displays the modifications as I expect it to.
However, if I go back and look at the server actlog, NO commands were issued
to the TSM server to modifiy the cloptset. Close the browser, start
a new
ISC session (or do q cloptset from the cmd line), and the cloptset is
unmodified.
Get the same results in IE8 and in Firefox 3.0.15.
Anybody have a workaround? I really, really hate doing cloptsets
from the
cmd line....
