Exactly.
You need to understand how you got from zero to "I have a system
capable of running TSM version [yadda]". With that, and your magical
few pieces of information (volhist, devconfig, DB backup, etc) you can
go on to reconstitute.
We, of all groups, need to be able to restore our application with
only the specific minimum files and data.
If you have a site disaster, you're going to need a BMR filestore to
be up before you can resurrect your backup server? Eeek!
