TDP clients can be configured to use storage agents, just like regular
clients can. Installing a storage agent doesn't automagically make the
clients use them (I've got a DBA now who's learning that the hard
way), but it can be done.

Hi all,
Does Storage Agent makes TDP LAN-free enabled? From the following
excerpt,
my answer is "yes". What do you think?

"The storage agent is available for use with backup-archive clients
and
application clients on a number of operating systems. The Tivoli
Storage
Manager for Storage Area Networks product includes the storage agent."
