I've had multiple customers running TSM client version 3.1.0.8 on SCO 
Openserver and *BSD servers, against TSM servers from 5.3 to 5.5. No bells and 
whistles on the clients, to be sure, but they run fine.

i'm running the server version 5.5.1 and looking in my nodelist there're
lots of WinNT-5.0 Client (Win2k?) running  4.1.1.0 / 4.2.1.0
TSM-Clients, they seem to work ;-)

there're also some HP-UX 10.20 boxes running a TSM client version 3.1.0.8.

well, TSM does not really matter the client's version.

perhaps the client will not support some newer features, the server does.
