Is this true? Will dedup be limited to EE? Any references?

Keep in mind that deduplication is also limited to FILE-based device

Hi,

since TSM 6.1 brings deduplication only for extended edition I wonder
whether it would help to split our tsm server (basic license) into a
basic for standard backup and an extended one for tdp activity. As I
remember do tdp agents cost the same regardless of the server-license.
Is this a good idea?
