I'm surprised Mark didn't at least allude to the SKIPNTPERMISSIONS
option for Windows client.

Hehe. For a reason, to be sure. I have had several customers use that option, 
and come to sorely regret it later. 

Why would anyone want to restore an incomplete/out of date/erroneous version of 
a file?
