Thanks for the reply But I have just reread the doco I placed in my
first email and I must have misread it.
It does not mention anywhere about placing Prepare onto Tape only
Offsite Disk using Device Class of Server.   Damn.
I have a TSM which is not going to be able to see any other of my TSM
servers so Server to Server comms is not possible.
Will have to sort out another way.

Hopefully this will be a easy one.
I have been investigating the possibility of automating the offsiting
our
Prepare Plan on our offsite LTO tapes.
I have read on IBM TSM info center you can copy your Prepare plan to
Disk
Tape or other servers.

*You should create multiple copies of the plan for safekeeping. For
example,

keep copies in print, on diskettes, on network- mounted disk space

that is

located offsite, or on a remote server.*

But I cannot workout which command/process which allows this. We are not
using DRM.
