My boss is talking about us having a site that will host hardware for our
core applications, including TSM. By what he is saying we want to have the
most recent backup, and that's all, at the second site at any given time.
This would include a handful of Windows clients, several AIX clients, one DB2
client, and one SQL client. He's talking of also having a powered down TSM
server on standby, but live backup storage there that would house the backups
of the clients mentioned above. What is the best way to have your data to use
on demand at another site, in the case that your central site becomes a
"smoking hole"? (How morbid!) Do you use 'active data pools'? Copy storage
pools? It sounds like I need only a copy of active data at the second site...

God bless you!!!
