I believe that you use the drivers below for those drive/library types.

There are some README's there that reference your drives if I recall
correctly. I have never used the 3494's
I guess you have googled your requirements and also looked on adsm.org
Your IBM guys should be able to help as well.

Aren't the Lin-tape.xxxxxx are the Atape drivers for Linear (LTO) Tape
Drives?
I'm having two IBM 3494 tape libraries here with 3591/J1A and 3592/E05
tape drives.
Do you know if the Lin-tape.xxxxxxdribvers are working for 3592 tape
drives too?
