Hi Steve,

In the Data Protection for SQL User's Guide, we mention this...

Starting with Data Protection for SQL 5.5.0,
if you are still running with SQL Server 2000,
there are additional requirements:

SQL Server 2000 must be at Service Pack 4 (or later).
In addition, the following software is also required when
using SQL Server 2000 with Data Protection for SQL 5.5.0:
    * Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 (or later)
    * Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0 (or later)
    * Microsoft SQL Server Native Client
    * Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Management Objects Collection

Here are the links to obtain them:

* Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en

* Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0 (or later),
  Microsoft SQL Server Native Client,
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Management Objects Collection
SQL Server 2000 customers will need to install the Feature Pack
for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 that can be downloaded from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=D09C1D60-A13C-4479-9B91-9E8B9D835CDC&displaylang=en

Thanks,

Del
