Aah... The reason for the flash copy was to leave the database and the logs for 
the old server intact and with old version ....incase we wanted to fail back to 
the old server for whatever reason.

I assume there is a reason you are migrating to new Luns in your disk
subsystem. If not, you could just swing the luns from your existing server
to the new server.

shutdown tsm
umount filesystems
varyoff vg
export vg
unmask luns from old server
unzone old server
zone new server
mask luns to new server
cfgmgr on new server
importvg
varyonvg
mount
