Hi Tim,

Yes, usually in a MSCS or Veritas cluster you will install the TDP for
Oracle code on both/all hosts which comprise the cluster. There will
usually then be some additional configuration, depending upon your
scheduling mechanism, to make it 'cluster friendly' - for example, if
using the TSM Scheduler on Windows MSCS, you can install an additional
TSM client scheduler service upon each host in the cluster and integrate
that into the MSCS, ensuring the service only springs in to life on the
host which 'owns' the database.

If I've understood your second question correctly, for vanilla TSM BA
client backups of resources in an MSCS cluster (e.g. clustered disk
resources), there is no additional component other than the TSM BA
client that needs to be installed, but as per the above, your scheduling
mechanism may require some additional configuration and yes, usually an
additional TSM node registration.

Hope that helps.

Does TDP for Oracle get installed on both nodes of an Oracle cluster.
With TSM for Windows clusters there is no install per say just the need
to define a cluster node
