We cost the Tivoli license in the project when we order the new system.
The yearly "support" cost we pay out of IT funds (which is budgeted).

Subject: [ADSM-L] Poll on TSM Licensing
Please answer if you in any way are responsible in the management of TSM
licenses at your place of business. We were recently audited, as IBM is
reaching out to all of their TSM customers to ensure that they are adhering
to the new standard. A debate arose on whether or not we should eat the cost
as a department, or begin charging the various departments (which we've done
recently in some cases) for the licensing of TSM products (b/a client, TDP,
etc...). What are you guys/gals doing at your place? I'd like a healthy dose
of feedback to get a feel of whether or not there a majority doing it one
way
or the other. Your participation is appreciated.
