You can clean the logs up with these statements in your dsm.opt file

ERRORLOGRETENTION X
SCHEDLOGRETENTION X

where X is the number of days you wish to retain data. If X=7, on Day 8 the 
data from Day 1 is pruned

Hi Muruga,

You can change this by specifing the following stanza in your DSM.OPT
file

ERRORLOGNAME    E:\<your path here>\dsmerror.log

You can do the same for the dsmsched log by adding the stanza
SCHEDLOGNAME.

I installed and configured tsm b/a client on my windows 2002 server. The
error log path as follows,

 

C:\Program Files\Tivoli\tsm\console\dsmerror.log

 

Q1 : how can I change the error log path to e:\

Q2 : how can I clean up those logs every week.

 

Please any one help me.
