Actually, yes.  All Quick Start manuals from ADSM through TSM 5.2 say:

One Server Administrator Defined
 This client has the following defaults:
  - Name: admin
  - Password: admin

and a similar B/A default client was defined.

The successor Installation Guide manuals stopped talking about a
server default name and password, but still talk of a default B/A
client.
