Worse of all is that that FS is backed up on one day but not on the other.
for example version history of my own inbox (January 2007) looks like this:

tsm> q b /Mail/michaelg -inact
Size Backup Date Mgmt Class A/I File
            ---- ----------- ---------- --- ----
  212,718,072 B 02/01/07 01:39:21 DEFAULT A /Mail/michaelg
  169,136,208 B 01/02/07 01:32:58 DEFAULT I /Mail/michaelg
  192,007,665 B 01/06/07 01:52:36 DEFAULT I /Mail/michaelg
  199,441,188 B 01/08/07 01:58:14 DEFAULT I /Mail/michaelg
  201,257,537 B 01/09/07 01:33:54 DEFAULT I /Mail/michaelg
  205,352,326 B 01/10/07 01:38:11 DEFAULT I /Mail/michaelg
  211,197,006 B 01/14/07 01:41:28 DEFAULT I /Mail/michaelg
  216,169,026 B 01/15/07 01:35:36 DEFAULT I /Mail/michaelg
  228,390,262 B 01/17/07 02:08:17 DEFAULT I /Mail/michaelg
  188,563,486 B 01/25/07 01:45:38 DEFAULT I /Mail/michaelg
  190,844,994 B 01/26/07 02:05:14 DEFAULT I /Mail/michaelg

Notice the gaps in the dates. I recieve a couple dozen emails everyday
and it means my inbox must change everyday and it must be backed up
everyday.
