Adam,

We are use TSM Extended Edition(not TSM DRP). Our setup is as follows
with Content Mgr. You are correct, CM controls the data retention. I
believe even if you want to keep the data longer in TSM, and CM already
deleted the data, you would not be able to restore the data without the
pointers in CM.

We wish to use TSM to store data from DB2 Content Manager.
Assuming the CM dictates when data is deleted, what values should I
specify for retention in the Content Manager TSM mgmt class copygroup?
Any advice would be welcome.
Happy New Year,
Adam
