This is incorrect. When you buy DB2, it comes with the code necessary to
interface with TSM.

You will have to install the standard backup/recovery code for the OS
that your DB2 server runs on; there is API required within it for *any*
backup to occur.

But you do not need to buy or license anything to back DB2 up, once
you've set up the regular b/a client.
