thanks all, i managed this okay, it works ... but i have another question !

tdpo_fs is "virtual" file space name, right ? in manual it says i should use
it i have more than one oracle db (i have) , but how to use it ?

tdpo_node - is used for node name, but what if i have multiple oracle db's
which are using they own nodes, does this mean that i have to backup
all databases as one node only differentiating in "tdpo_fs" name or their
real filespace name ?

if license is not valid will i be able to do backups ? i have license for
version 2.2 but only for windows since the 2.2 cannot be installed on
AIX 5.3 ML5 64bit (bos.rte v=4, r<4)

sorry if questions are odd but i'm new in this and i have a lot of questions
since the ab5u0002.pdf is not what i expected :-)

what am i doing wrong ? the pdf is confusing very much , for example :
"...Specify  the  complete  path  to  the  Tivoli  Storage  Manager  client

that means that dsm.sys is not looked for ?

do i have to put something into /opt/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin dir ?
