I know, I've done some queries in the past... about 70% of the files
(number of files in a aggregate is available) in my environment is (was
at that time) stored in aggregates smaller than 10 MB. That also
accounted for about 12% of total capacity.

I disagree. I know that aggregation plays a role, but you can keep
things in control with tnxmaxsize. And yes, still then there is no
guarantee, but it does help a lot, IMNSHO.
