Should be:

dsmserv restore db devclass=classname volumenames=filename, filename
commit=yes

BUT, "is not working" doesn't tell us much.
Please respond with the output you get from TSM when you enter the
command above

I have lost volhist.out and in  a need of restore TSM5.3.0.0 DB on

but same is not working

Please help to restore DB without volhist. Recovery log is in normal
mode.
