Re: TSM and ASR recovery of Windows 2003 server

Hi Tim,
Yes we've seen this problem with our HP servers. What we do is create a
slipstream cd with windows 2003, sp1 and the nic card drivers on it.(of
course you may be using 2003 G2) We use a useful utility called nlite. It's
gui based and is freeware. Another way to get around this problem is to
install the nic card drivers from the dos window that you get at the select
option 1 for network or 2 for local backupset. The dos window is minimized
when you get to this window.

Subject: [ADSM-L] TSM and ASR recovery of Windows 2003 server
I am going through the ASR function of TSM while installing Windows 2003.
The install does not install the NIC driver and without that ASR wont work
unlesss I used backupsets. I am using a farily new IBM server that uses
Broadcom nic drivers
Any one seen this issue before.
