clients can't connect after adding another NIC in a multiple NIC TSM server

I have AIX 5.3 TSM 5.3.0 server with 2 NICs on different networks right
now.
I am adding a third NIC on yet a different network.  After configuring
the 3rd NIC in AIX it is pingable and can be logged into.
But TSM clients (Windows and UNIX) are unable to connect to the TSM
server after bringing this third NIC up.  I bring it down and clients
can connect.
Anyone have ideas, please?  Thanks in advance!
