I would think that to be highly subjective to your
organization/needs/requirements/mandates ! For instance, are your someone
who has to follow SARB-OX ?
I went to a presentation once, that had Fannie-Mae as the speaker. They
don't do backups. Everything is archives. Everything is kept almost
forever. They said they had over 3PB in TSM storage !
Also, things like email retention policies can dictate these numbers !
