There is (or should be) a file IBMtape.conf in /usr/kernel/drv.
See the manual IBM SCSI Tape Drive, Medium Changer, and Library Device
Drivers. GC35-0154-05.1
Look in the Solaris chapters 26-29.
Basically you define which lun's IBMtape will "see". There is a file in
the same directory named st.conf, which you need to consider, as well,
as you don't want the same device "seen" by more than one driver!

Trying to run TSM 5.1.6.2 on Solaris 2.9

IBMtape version - 4.1.2.6

Hi All

As this isn't strictly a TSM question I will understand if it gets
ignored, but does anyone know how (or if it is even possible) to get
Solaris to only use the IBMtape device drivers and not to also use the
default Solaris SCSI tape drivers. If I could get the OS to do that, I
would hope to see my two IBMtape drives assigned to 0 and 1 (0stc, 1stc)
again, and this would save me a lot of extra work.

If there are any Solaris people out there that can help me with this it
was be awesome.

Many thanks

Farren
