TSM 5.3.2.3 server on AIX
TSM 5.3.2.0 on redhat linux (redhat 8)
There are no errors in the error log.
After the first scheduled backup has finished, the log files look like this:
The last entry in the dsmsched.log is:
03/07/2006 00:52:31 Scheduler has been stopped.

The last entry in the dsmwebcl.log is:
03/07/2006 00:52:32 (dsmcad) Waiting to be contacted by the server.

But when the next backup period arrives the tsm server says that
ANR8213W Session open with x.y.z.a timed out. (SESSION: 155)

When I restart dsmcad during this period, the backup immediately starts.
