Before blaming the TSM version, it appears that you're running the TSM
client from the start menu, thusly:

   Start-->Programs-->Tivoli Storage Manager--> Backup/Archive Client GUI

This will cause you to see the local drives only.

Try it this way instead. Open a command-line window and run

   cd /d <drive>:\<directory_tree_for_TSM_client>
   dsm
-optfile=<drive>:\<directory_tree_for_node_optfile_location>\dsm.opt

See if you can see the node's drives now.
