I'm getting these errors intermittently...

 

12/21/05   03:40:57 Executing Operating System command or script:  su
informix "-c /home/bhsadmin/bin/backup_informix"

12/21/05   05:00:48 Finished command.  Return code is: 19

12/21/05   05:00:48 ANS1909E The scheduled command failed.

12/21/05   05:00:48 ANS1512E Scheduled event 'PHAR_INFORMIX_NIGHTLY'
failed.  Return code = 19.

 

Does a return code of 19 mean an authentication failure? If some could
direct me to docs on TSM return code, I would be most appreciative.

 

Also, some nights the backups with take under an hour, and other nights,
up to 3 hours, which caused a vendor to complain that the system slows
down almost to a halt. Ideas?

 

TSM Server v5.3.1.2, AIX v5.2

TDP for Informix v4.1.3, AIX v4.3.3
