The Data Protection for SQL 5.2.1.03 IA64 bit package
supporting SQL Server 2005 is now available on the IBM FTP site:

**** IMPORTANT NOTE:

   In order to run Data Protection for MS SQL with SQL Server 2005
   on the IA64 platform, you will need to obtain and install the
   following hotfix from Microsoft support:

      Microsoft Hotfix: Q912021

   If you do not have the Microsoft hotfix installed, you may see
   this error message during Data Protection for MS SQL operations:

     "ACO5422E Received the following from the MS SQL server:
      [SQL-DMO]Code execution exception:  EXCEPTION_DATATYPE_MISALIGNMENT
         Microsoft SQL-DMO (HRESULT:0x80040002)"

   You must obtain the hotfix from Microsoft in order to use
   Data Protection for SQL with SQL Server 2005 on the IA64 platform.
