Hi, Vicky!

We are running TSM 5.2.x on Linux SLES8 for a year now; until now there are
no problems, even not with IBM support.
It was not a migration but a new installation.

We'd rather AIX...more reliable...IBM supports their hardware for
a greater amount of time, usually 10 years.
Was wondering if there was an easy way to
migrate the TSM database / data, other than EXPORT / IMPORT.

Is there anyone that has had negative experience with running
TSM on LINUX?  Also, it will be a DELL machine.

Why Linux?

No, I like Linux, but everyone tell me that AIX is better solutions.
Price is not answer.

We use (for now) tsm 5.2.6.3 on windows (2003) but migrate in near
future to aix. Maybe linux is better for tsm?
