I've disabled the snapshotcachelocation in the dsm.opt file. The VSS service is 
started automatically on Windows when it detects that a backup is started. Thus 
the open files are being backed up with the OFS installed but not configured in 
the 532 BA client.
 
You can easily test it with eg a backup of c:\documents and settings while 
there are users logged on. All of the ntuser.dat(.log) and usrclass.dat(.log) 
are included in the backup.

With the new 5.3.2 client for Windows 2003, we have a lot of errors about VSS
