I believe he has it right, the nodelock file does seem to
contain license-looking information.

I don't know if there's something inside of the TSM server# database
about it. But there's an external file called 'nodelock' in the TSM
server's default installation directory (in AIX -->
/usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin) where all your 'register license' commands
are being written to.
