JBOD for copy storage pool (which is inherently sequential) is one of
those topics which has been well explored in the past. Go to http://
www.mail-archive.com/adsm-l AT vm.marist DOT edu/ and search on JBOD.

Currently data flow in our TSM environment is as such:

node=>DISKPOOL=>TAPEPOOL

I would like to acquire a disk array (iSCSI/NAS/FC)
and create a copy storage pool with random access
media (disk) so that data flow iwould be like this:

node=>DISKPOOL=>TAPEPOOL
              =>JBOD

Is this possible or must copy storage pools be
sequential access.

Any ideas? opinions? Experiences? --- Thanks
