Upgrading AIX TSM server

I am about to upgrade one of my TSM AIX servers from 5.2.3.4 to 5.3.?

I have the base upgrade to get to V5.3.0.0.

I have downloaded the upgrades to 5.3.1.0 and now 5.3.1.2 !

Per the prereqs, I am at the correct levels for xlC.rte.

Any reason I can't go directly to 5.3.1.2 from 5.3.0.0 ?

Any hints/suggestions/gotchas I should be aware of ?

Is an UPGRADEDB automagical, now (yes, I will perform a full DB backup,
first).
