Thank you Richard.  Tsm support got back to me later yesterday suggesting the 
same thing.

I am one of our solaris people. We have no support contract, so don't have a 
patch database to look at. However, did get an early patch # from tsm support.

Now to get it applied.
Our administration here is windows happy.  Not microsoft, not good.  That's 
their motto.

Gary -

A search suggests that this is a Solaris 8 issue, in having failed to provide 
the needed libCstd.so.1, where the application of recent Solaris patches should 
correct that. Your Solaris people can probably find that defect description on 
their side.
