Joni,

The "/p02/*" reference will not give you what I think you are trying to
get, i.e. "/p02/data/penv/veritus". You should just give the full name
of that file space. You can use wild cards in this command but in your
case I don't think it is worthwhile. Therefore the command should look
like the following (all on one line in case it wraps in my email):

generate backupset fjsu102 fjsu102_backupset /p01,/u01,/p02,/p02/data/penv/veritus
dev=tapeoff3590 ret=22 desc="FJSU102 BACKUPSET"

I hope that helps.

Hello All!

I want to generate a backupset for the server fjsu102 to include the
following filesystems:
/p01
/p02
/p02/data/penv/veritus
/u01

Is the following syntax correct to include the above filesystems within the
backupset?

generate backupset fjsu102 fjsu102_backupset /p01,/u01,/p02,/p02/*
dev=tapeoff3590 ret=22 desc="FJSU102 BACKUPSET"

Thanks in advance!
