I have been having some issues with my 3580/3583 LTO2 drives and went
looking for firmware updates.

My current level is 4772.

I found both 4C17 (12/14/2004) and 52E0 (02/21/2005) on ftp
/storage/358x/3580.

Unfortunately, the IBM.COM web-page for 3580 firmware only lists the 4772
level. Nothing about the others and all downloads from there only pull the
4772 level.

There is nothing in the ftp directory about these levels....just the
firmware !

Anyone have any experience with either of these firmware levels ?     Are
they safe to install ?

Anyone seen the docs on what problems are addressed/fixed ?
