Andy,
Thank you very much for your reply.

The procedure I followed was exactly as outlined in the manual. I made sure to
use WinPE and not BartPE. I did not alter the WinPE insallation in anyway. I
realize there are many notes on the Internet about how to do that but I didn't.

I will use the product you pointed out by sysinternals tomorrow to see if that
sheds light on anything.

As for errors I only got the one single error which I included in my post. My
posts are always wordy so I could understand if you missed it (grin).
Tommorrow I will see if I can pipe the verbose output of the command to a file
A:\ and post that. I've also opened a call with support.

Kyle, the procedure should work. The authors of the document work in TSM
development and test, and have actually tested them before publication.

It would help to see, in excruciating detail, exactly what you are doing,
include actual copy & paste from the console (*complete*, everything) of
what you are doing with TSM, along with any error log info that might be
written.

Make sure that the C: drive is not being used by anything else (i.e. that
you are not CD'd into it from an OS prompt, for example).

Andy

The only dumb question is the one that goes unasked.
The command line is your friend.
