We are in the process of planning the next TSM server upgrade.
Currently, we have one physical server (RS6k P670, 4 procs, 16GB
memory), and are trying to decide if we should split TSM onto 2 servers,
or leave it on one physical server (my pref is one physical server). I
would like to hear pros and cons, and what decisions have been made by
other people. Here is a summary of our TSM site:

3 TSM instances
33GB, 48GB, and 40GB Databases
1.25TB backup per night
28TB, 13TB, and 15TB managed (one copy, double for onsite and offsite)
113M, 124M, 140M files managed

Thanks for any info, and if more info is needed from me, let me know.

P.S. TSM V5.2.1.1, soon 5.2.3.5
